HDFS Minor Requirements
|Students must take two core courses:||HDFS 525: Human Development
HDFS 545: Intimate Relationships and Families
|Students must also take three additional courses in human development and family studies.||
NOTE: Occupational Therapy students who minor in HDFS may substitute OT 500 Behavior and Development of Children for HDFS 623 Developmental Perspectives on Infancy and Early Childhood as one of the three required HDFS electives.
Click here to see an overview of the three HDFS minor options. The Human Development and Family Studies Department does not require students to file an intent to minor form. Students are required to complete a Certification of Completion of Minor Form in order for the minor to become part of their academic record.
