"This internship has not only provided me with a new perspective of educational policy but has provided me with opportunities to make strong connections in the educational field with Easter Seals, Teach for America, the Council for Professional Recognition, and the White House Staff. M.A. is an amazing mentor who has taught me so much about education policy and procedure; I'm so grateful to her and the Department of HDFS for this opportunity! Working at ECEC gives me a whole new perspective on working in the classroom- I get to see first-hand how the government makes different decisions in regards to the policies I implement everyday in a classroom." -Meghann H.
