CSDC Welcomes New Management Team
HDFS is pleased to announce the appointment of a new management team at the Child Study and Development Center. Lisa Ranfos, M.S., the new Executive Director, was appointed in July. Jessica Carver, M.Ed., the new Assistant Director, joined the CSDC in September.
Ms. Ranfos came to the CSDC in 2012 as Center Manager and had served as Interim Director for the past year. Prior to joining the CSDC, she served as Director of the Child and Family Development Center at NHTI in Concord, NH. She is committed to quality childcare and education throughout the state, and serves on several statewide early childhood education committees, including the Quality Rating and Improvement Task Force, the Infant and Toddler Task Force, and the Spark NH Workforce and Professional Development Committee. Ms. Ranfos is a two-time recipient of the Dr. Mary Stuart Gile award, which honors individuals with a demonstrated commitment to the development of the next generation of early childhood professionals. She is also the 2014 recipient of the Gwen and Henry Morgan award, recognizing her commitment to quality childcare and education in New Hampshire.
Ms. Carver is an undergraduate HDFS alum who has worked in the early childhood education field for 10 years. Her previous experiences include working as a classroom teacher at a lab school, working in state government on early childhood quality initiatives, and training and educating early childhood professionals across the state. She is passionate about building leadership capacity within early childhood professionals and providing intentional and meaningful experiences for children and families.
