I also teach the introductory course in the major (RMP 490), as well as courses in youth development (RMP 668) and graduate research methods (RMP 995, RMP 998). I have also taught courses related to program evaluation and strategic and master planning.
My research interests center on the intersection of sport/physical activity, positive youth development, and community recreation, with a focus on access and constraints to active recreation and sport opportunities. I am also interested in training and professional development in the recreation and sport fields, particularly in community and campus recreation organizations. I also work closely with community recreation and sport organizations on issues pertaining to master and strategic planning and program evaluation.
