Assistance through the Graduate School
The Graduate School maintains a limited number of scholarships to reward students for outstanding potential and/or performance in a graduate program. Availability and criteria for award of these scholarships are announced annually by the Graduate School.
Scholarships for Part-Time Students
Students who are part-time may be granted tuition scholarships, which provide a partial waiver of tuition charges. The scholarships are awarded each semester of the academic year. Applications are available at the Graduate School. University employees or family members who are eligible for staff benefits are not eligible to receive scholarships for part-time students
Assistance through the Human Development
and Family Studies Department
Students who are enrolled full-time may be granted a partial tuition scholarship for the academic year or semester. These awards provide a waiver of tuition and are subject to the maintenance of a high scholastic record. You should indicate your interest in a scholarship on your application for admission.
The Department of Human Development and Family Studies currently has four half-time research assistantships to award to incoming and continuing full-time graduate students, although the number of assistantships may vary from year to year. Half-time assistantships consist of ten paid hours of work per week and a one-half tuition waiver. You should indicate your interest in an assistantship on your application for admission.
