Exercise Science Research
Current research interests of the Exercise Science faculty include cardiovascular and metabolic responses to exercise, exercise-induced thermogenesis, vascular function (endothelial function and arterial stiffness), inflammation and oxidative stress, strength training in cardiac and elderly persons, and running economy and its improvements through training.
