Meet Our Communications Intern Patrick Harvey

Patrick Harvey

Hi, my name is Patrick Harvey and I am the new Communications Intern for the UNH College of Health and Human Services (CHHS). I am now in my senior year at UNH and I am finishing up degrees in Communication and History.

For a career, I am hoping to land a full time job in the world of sports communications. This summer, I was fortunate enough to serve as the Communications Intern for MTV (Viacom) in New York City. In addition to working on campus as the CHHS Communications Intern, I intern for the UNH Athletic Communications Department.

I also served as President of the ‘Cat Pack Captains for my sophomore and junior years. The ‘Cat Pack Captains are a student organization of UNH super fans that lead the student section at athletic games and other major events on campus. This is where I developed my passion for all things UNH.

The aspect of this internship that excites me the most is telling the student experience for students in CHHS. I believe that UNH is an incredible institution and it is important to communicate that through the eyes of the students.

I am going to interview different students in the college to find out how they plan to apply their CHHS degrees to prepare for life at graduation. I will also write feature stories on CHHS alum that have been thriving since graduation. Hopefully you will enjoy reading my pieces!
