Alison Rataj, MSW, is a Research Associate at the Institute for Health Policy and Practice (IHPP), and the Center on Aging and Community Living (CACL). She joined IHPP and CACL in October of 2014 after graduating with her Masters of Social Work in May of 2014. Currently, Alison offers research assistance on projects that support person-centered, home and community based, long-term care options for older adults and persons living with a disability. She provides program development and implementation support on the Aging and Disability Resource Center program, and the collective impact initiative “Alliance for Healthy Aging”. Alison is also a planning committee member for the UNH Age of Champions event which promotes healthy active aging through the use of the award winning “Age of Champions” film and a health fair. Alison also teaches as an adjunct faculty member in the UNH Department of Social Work. She sits on the NH National Association of Social Workers (NH-NASW) board, chairs the NH-NASW Aging Committee, and sits on the Friends of Rockingham ServiceLink board.
