2004 graduate of the University of Texas with a B.S. in Kinesiology and a 2008 M.S. graduate of the Therapeutic Recreation Option of the Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management Department at Clemson University
Philip is currently involved in facilitating Therapeutic Recreation for both the PATH and TREK programs at Northeast Passage
In 2001, he became the assistant director of Easter Seals' Southern California Camp Respite, a camp for children and adults with physical and cognitive disabilities, and became its director two years later. In 2006, as the director of Easter Seals' Southern California Day Program, he provided professional skills and training to adults with disabilities. Also while at Easter Seals, he initiated a new program, 'It Starts with Me' that was designed to train all employees about the needs of clients and to increase sensitivity towards those needs. Chandler, a New Hampshire native and advocate for diversity awareness, acquired a spinal cord injury in 1993 as a teenager. He currently works for Northeast Passage, presenting the Similarity Awareness program to school aged children and coaching the NEP Quad Rugby Team.
