Callie Carr is the director of communications in the College of Health and Human Services. She oversees the marketing and outreach efforts that engage internal and external stakeholders, including students, alumni and UNH partners. Prior to this role, she spent five years as a project director at UNH's Institute for Health Policy and Practice, managing projects in the area of healthcare delivery system and payment reform.
Callie’s background is in communications, marketing and strategic planning. She spent 10 years in the healthcare sector before joining UNH, where she served as the lead partner of the Greater Exeter Area Community Health Collaborative and managed system-wide community needs assessment and outreach activities for a health system in southern New Hampshire. She has worked with many non-profits throughout northern New England in a collaborative development role. In New Hampshire she guided the efforts of the New Hampshire Purchasers Group on Health and the MapNH Health project. Before joining the healthcare sector, Callie worked as the marketing coordinator for a western Massachusetts organization that created programs to strengthen the connections between local farms, community members and markets.
