Dawn R. Zimmerman, Clinical Assistant Professor, Communication Sciences and Disorders

Clinic Director/Director of Clinical Education and Clinical Services
My clinical interests relate to speech sound disorders and language development. My particular area of expertise is auditory-oral therapy for those with hearing devices. I have the privilege to supervise students in the clinical setting, which provides continued growth for me as a professional. I also work individually with students to determine clinical placements and find sites that might be appropriate for their interests and needs. Mentorship of students has piqued my interest in research pertaining to assessment of clinical skills and supervision models. I look forward to supporting students in their clinical endeavors.
