Devan Quinn, MPP, joined IHPP in April 2019 as a Project Director focusing on pediatric health and healthcare quality improvement. Devan has worked in direct-service, advocacy, and state government focusing on initiatives and programs that support children and families’ health, safety, and opportunity to thrive. Prior to coming to IHPP, Devan was a Policy Analyst at Rhode Island KIDS COUNT where she managed a state-based initiative to expand access to and completion of pediatric EPSDT services and wrote published materials on indicators of children’s health and well-being including children’s health insurance, access to oral and mental healthcare, birth outcomes, substance-exposed newborns, obesity, and tobacco use. Prior to that role, as a Child Advocate and Domestic Violence Specialist at New Beginnings, Devan provided individual support and led group programs for survivors of violence and their children. Devan was also previously the Executive Assistant to Governor Maggie Hassan. Her interests include equitable access to healthcare including oral, mental, and behavioral health, and improving maternal and child health outcomes.
