Kevin Pietro

Professor Pietro joined the UNH Nutrition Program in 2014. Since joining the faculty he has had the opportunity to teach over 10 different courses related to nutritional approaches to prevent disease (NUTR 773 and 765), improve overall health and wellness (NUTR 506, 610, 758, and 895) and gain a competitive advantage (NUTR 546). A number of courses have been centered around experiential learning, providing and supervising semester-long internships (NUTR 600), collaborating with UNH Athletics (NUTR 699), and assisting students in counseling clients from the community (NUTR 758).
Additionally, Professor Pietro is currently working on his Ph.D. in Education from UNH. His research interests pertain to teaching/training future nutrition professionals, specifically related to favorable counseling traits and dispositions.
