Matthew Humer is a Practice Facilitator for the Institute for Health Policy and Practice. In this role, he supports both The Northern New England Practice Transformation Network and The NH Citizens Health Initiative’s Behavioral Health Integration Learning Collaborative. Matt’s focus is on utilizing quantitative measurements and quality improvement best practices to drive substantive improvements in frontline practices across the state.
Prior to joining the IHPP in November of 2016, Matt served first as the Volunteer Coordinator for Speare Memorial Hospital in Plymouth, NH and then as a Senior Analyst with an international management consulting firm based out of Washington DC. He has been trained as an Accenture Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt, an EMT-Basic, and studied healthcare quality assessment/quality improvement best practices. Passions include projects that improve the patient experience, medication costs in relation to medication adherence, and the impact of education and literacy on navigating the mental health landscape.
