Age of Champions 2018
DURHAM — Aging well was the theme of Saturday’s Age of Champions event hosted by the Center on Aging and Community Living at the University of New Hampshire.
Planned by students and faculty of the university’s College of Health and Human Services, the event had a subtitle of “It’s never too soon to age well.”
Held at the UNH Field House, many members of the surrounding communities attended the three-hour event to learn a bit about a variety of things. They also had an opportunity to participate in a raffle offering everything from CPR classes to tickets to UNH athletic events to free massages.
The entire gymnasium of the field house was filled with 55 booths offering advice and materials relative to physical and psychological aging with grace and control.
