The Department of Occupational Therapy offers multiple degree options with the field of occupational therapy which meets the diverse needs of prospective students, serves the community as well as professional colleagues and organizations, and focuses research and scholarly activities based on the advancement and promotion of occupational therapy and occupational science.
Undergraduate applicants may choose from the following degree pathways:
Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant (4 years)
*Pending Program Approval.
Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Science with:
Advanced standing transition to Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy (5.5 years for BS/MS)
Advanced standing transition to Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy (6 years for BS/OTD)
Graduate applicants with an undergraduate degree in another area of study may choose the following degree pathways:
Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy (2.5 years)
Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy (3 years)
*Both programs begin in the summer session
