Scholarships at CHHS
Students in the College of Health and Human Services can be nominated for the scholarships and awards listed below. Scholarships/Awards HHS students can be nominated for:
The Basil J.F. Mott Award, given each year to a graduate student who has demonstrated outstanding scholarship and leadership in the School.
The Hamilton S. Putnam Award, given to an undergraduate student (Sophomore or Junior) intending to pursue a career in a health-related field, who has demonstrated outstanding academic achievement.
The Daniel and Beatrice Rogers Scholarship, given to a student (undergraduate preferred, but graduate student considered) in HHS, must be a New Hampshire resident, with preference given to those pursuing a career in the field of mental illness.
The CHHS Departmental Scholar award is given by the college to an outstanding senior in our program, who is elected by faculty.
The Roger A. Ritvo Award which is a joint award given to both a faculty member and student (undergraduate or graduate) who have engaged in a collaborative research or service project outside the classroom.
Theo Steelman Public Service Fellow: provides stipends for undergraduate students in the School of Health and Human Sciences to complete full-time summer service learning experiences in the public service sector.
