Training Opportunities
Healthcare professionals (non-degree Coursework)
CDHI provides a Telehealth Certificate Program that offers professional training and certification for healthcare providers. The program models an interdisciplinary team-based approach to care, and the curriculum covers a range of topics with elective modules that can be selected by the learner based on their area(s) of interest. The courses within the UNH CDHI are developed and taught by UNH interprofessional CDHI faculty and other experts in the field. The online courses combine a variety of learning modalities and are delivered asynchronously. Learners earn the UNH Telehealth Certificate by completing 5 courses within the program and additionally earn UNH Microcredentials for each course completed. UNH alumni can enroll in the Telehealth Certificate Program at a discounted rate and bundle pricing discounts are also available.
Graduate and undergraduate students (For credit coursework)
Courses such as Introduction to Telehealth (HHS 798/898), Practicum in Nutrition and Wellness (NUTR 758), Behavioral Nutrition and Counseling (NUTR 860) as well as other courses in Communication Sciences and Disorders, Occupational Therapy, and Marriage and Family allow students the opportunity to explore the Center for Digital Health Innovation space and apply their knowledge and skills to virtual models of care.
HHS 798/898: Introduction to Telehealth
This online, asynchronous elective course is taught by an interdisciplinary team and focuses on the ever-changing landscape of telehealth through the lens of various health disciplines. Students will explore topics such as the digital divide, telepresence, ethics, telehealth technology, and current practices in telehealth. In addition to completing weekly modules that span a variety of key telehealth topics, students will work collaboratively at a distance to create a multi-media project focused on a telehealth topic of interest. This course uses Open Educational Resources (OER). No textbook is required.
