Honors-in-Major offers students the opportunity to undertake in-depth, challenging work in Communication Sciences and Disorders. The program emphasizes student-led, individualized curricula and encourages the formation of working relationships between students and faculty.
Honors-in-Major is open to any UNH student with a qualifying GPA.
Students enrolled in Honors-in-Major complete three honors section courses along with an Honors Thesis, for a minimum of 16 honors credits. The Honors Thesis is completed during the senior year although students are advised to begin to develop their project and identify a faculty advisor during spring of junior year. The faculty advisor sets the standards, due date and grade for the project. Students must earn a B or better on the Honors Thesis in order to quality for Honors/Honors in Major.
