Communications Sciences & Disorders major

Q: Why did you choose UNH?

A: I loved that it was only an hour and a half from my hometown and I fell in love with the campus and the people I met when I first toured here.

Lauren Muratore

Q: What is your favorite part of campus?

A: The downtown area, my friends, and I love to head into town to grab a bite to eat at The Works or check out whatever new merch town and campus has.

Q: What are you involved in on campus?

A: I am an ACE mentor for the freshman in CSD and I am also in a club called National Student Speech Language Hearing Association. I recently just joined the club field hockey team here as well.

Q: What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

A: Typically, in my free time here I will go on a run, try new \food places, or hang with my friends.

Q: Why did you choose your major?

A: I initially found out about speech therapy because of my little cousin who needed a speech therapist when he was younger. I love how many opportunities this major offers me in the future and my ability to help people in a variety of ways I can work with either speech or swallowing aspects at any age level our major is super small and will support you all the way through your 4 years at UNH. The professors want you to succeed and are so nice I cannot recommend this program enough!
