In the last semester of the senior year, students are placed at a practice site based on their clinical interest, clinical strengths, and preference of geographical location. UNH is one of the few programs nationally to have an extensive senior level clinical practicum.
The Department of Nursing in conjunction with the Office of Admissions offers UNH campus and nursing department tours on select days throughout the year, including summer.
The Eta Iota Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International was chartered at the University of New Hampshire in 1984. The vision for Eta Iota Chapter is to be recognized as a center for fostering nursing excellence through research, scholarship, professional development, mentoring, and community and global partnerships in order to influence health outcomes.
