Q: What are you most proud of during your time at UNH?

Cayleigh M

A: I think something I'm most proud of that I've done at UNH would be becoming an EMT and volunteering on campus for McGregor Memorial EMS. I've met so many amazing people- friends and loved ones- through there and it's just given me an opportunity to give back to the community after studying something I'm really passionate about.

Q: What motivates you?

A: Something that I would say would motivate me would be my future. I have so much to look forward to and even though I don't have it all figured out yet I know I have a bright future ahead of me because of all the faculty students and friends I've made here at UNH.

Q: Why did you choose your major?

A: I chose my major because I was looking for something that involved health and the clinical side and I think Health Sciences really captures that. It is something that covers the basis from anything if you want to apply to medical school, PT school, PA school. It really covers everything so anybody who's looking to go into the clinical medical field I think it's a great option.

Q: How has UNH been preparing you for your future?

A: My experience here at UNH is preparing me for the future because of all the surrounding communities, clubs, organizations, everything that is available nearby. We have five hospitals including a level two and a level three trauma center nearby, so for anybody who's looking to go into the medical field, it's super easy and helpful to get clinical experience in the area.

Q: What advice would you give to incoming students?

A: If you're looking to attend UNH and you're considering Health Sciences I absolutely say go for it. Everybody who I know that has gone and graduated from UNH absolutely loves it. They come here every homecoming, and Health Sciences is a new degree with a ton of potential and I can't wait to see you here.
