Temo Dadiani, a first year graduate student in the Department of Recreation Management & Policy's Adaptive Sports option, won a Gold Medal in the Para Powerlifting World Cup contest held in the Republic of Georgia on April 29-May 1, 2023.
Temo is an active duty Corporal-specialist in the Republic of Georgia Army. During a peacekeeping mission in Afghanistan in August 2011 Temo experienced combat-related injury. Temo is a GA in RMP where he supports sport development for student athletes with disabilities in Northeast Passage's competitive sports program. Temo also supports UNH students who participate in the Northeast Passage Court Sports program offered each semester through UNH Campus Recreation. This past summer, Temo worked as a part-time Program Assistant in Northeast Passage's Adaptive Sports and Recreation program.
