UNH Occupational Therapy students will be providing falls prevention screenings and education on falls prevention and adaptive/assistive devices to help prevent falls.

Sw-ellness: Clinic for Treatment and Management of Adults with Swallow Disorders
UNH graduate students in the Communication Sciences and Disorder's program with Clinical Assistant Professor and Director of the Sw-ellness Clinic will be providing education about the natural aging effects of swallowing and identification of a swallow disorder. The students will be offering free swallow screens.

Clinic for Neurogenic Communication Disorders
The Clinic for Neurogenic Communication Disorders (CNCD) is a source for expert diagnosis and treatment of acquired neurogenic disorders in adults. These include acquired brain injuries such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, or post-concussive syndrome as well as disorders of the brain such as Parkinson’s disease, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, Multiple Sclerosis, Primary Progressive Aphasia, and Alzheimer’s disease. Stop by our table, where our students will be conducting free cognitive screenings using the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA)! |

Children attending the center, and the UNH students working at the center, benefit from the highly trained teaching staff. |

UNH Recreation Management & Policy
Students from the UNH Recreation Management & Policy Department’s Therapeutic Recreation: Aging Services Principles and Interventions course will provide education on the role of therapeutic recreation in promoting health, independence, and quality of life for older adults. The booth will highlight how recreation therapy supports physical, cognitive, and social well-being through meaningful activities. Visitors can participate in an interactive engagement experience demonstrating the power of recreation in aging services and take home resources on the benefits of therapeutic recreation in later life. |

UNH Social Work and Gerontology Multidisciplinary Minor
The Department of Social Work at UNH prepares students for careers in social work through a strong foundation in liberal arts, hands-on internships, and a focus on social justice. The program equips graduates to work with individuals, families, and communities in diverse settings. The Gerontology Multidisciplinary Minor explores aging from multiple perspectives, including physical, cognitive, and social aspects, preparing students for careers that support older adults. This interdisciplinary minor provides insights into aging policies and programs at national and global levels. Both programs emphasize practical experience and interdisciplinary learning, ensuring students are well-equipped to make a meaningful impact in their fields. |

UNH Cardiac Rehabilitation and Prevention
Medically supervised exercise science program for those with known cardiovascular disease and at risk for cardiovascular disease. |

UNH Association of Exercise Science Students
AESS will do some strength and flexibility testing on the older adults and we just talk about the importance of and how you can keep your fitness up as you age. |
