<p>Emily Lusenhop,MSW, is a Clinical Assistant Professor for at the University of New Hampshire's Department of Social Work. An educator and seasoned clinical social worker, their expertise lies in clinical practice focused on the impacts of trauma on youth, adolescents, and families, particularly LGBTQIA2S+ individuals and families. Teaching and clinical practice methods are grounded in anti-oppressive practices, psychodynamic theory, trauma informed models of care, evidenced based practices, as well as diverse feminist and queer theories. Their social justice work is firmly rooted in queer and LGBTQIA+ communities. In addition to teaching, mentoring students, and acting as a BSW Internship Liaison, Emily is a member of the New Hampshire Queer Consortium (NHQC) and the UNH Department of Social Work’s Committee on Ethnicity, Race, and Gender Equity (CERGE).</p>
