<p>John DeJoie, MSW, is a Senior Lecturer in the University of New Hampshire’s Department of Social Work. A seasoned practitioner and educator, whose expertise lies in emergency mental health interventions, policy analysis and advocacy and community practice. He focuses on bringing real world experiences into the classroom to prepare future social workers for diverse practice settings. He maintains an active practice and strategically advises community partners. He engages students in these opportunities as practicable. His experiential style enables students to experience social work practice in action. John has received numerous awards and recognition from his advocacy and social justice work.</p>
