
Keri Vasquez Miloro, MS, CAGS, CCC-SLP, BCS-S is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of New Hampshire and New Hampshire’s first and only board-certified specialist in swallowing and swallowing disorders (BCS-S). With over 20 years of clinical experience in acute, sub-acute, long-term care, homecare, and outpatient settings, she has focused her career on adult dysphagia and the delivery of evidence-based, person-centered care.
She continues to practice in acute care and rehabilitation hospitals and directs UNH’s Swellness Clinic, providing evaluation and treatment for adults with swallowing disorders. Additionally, Keri is passionate about expanding services and access to rural areas in NH, creating partnerships with hospitals and community-based nursing care. In the classroom, she incorporates interdisciplinary collaboration, simulation, and technology to prepare students for real-world clinical practice. She serves on the Center for Digital Health Innovations committee, harnessing technology for simulation education.
Keri earned a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study from Boston University, where she gained research experience and proficiency in flexible endoscopic evaluation of swallowing (FEES). She has assisted in development and implementation of FEES programs for local healthcare organizations as a preceptor. She has published in peer-reviewed journals, presents nationally. She also serves as Vice President of Membership – Outreach for the New Hampshire Speech, Language and Hearing Association.
