<p>Kerry Nolte, PhD, FNP-C, RN, is an Associate Professor at University of New Hampshire’s Department of Nursing. As a leading nursing scientist, their research focuses on harm reduction, substance use, infectious disease, and healthcare experiences of vulnerable populations, with funding from NIH, National Association of County and City Health Organizations, NH Department of Health and Human Services, and the NH Charitable Foundation. Their work has been widely published in high-impact journals, and they have received awards including NH Nursing Research of the Year 2018 and the UNH Excellence in Public Service 2023. They are actively involved with the Northern New England Primary Care Based Research Network, the NH Governor's Commission on Alcohol and Other Drugs, and the Portsmouth NH School Board. Dr. Nolte is actively involved in supporting harm reduction programs across New England and served as a founding member of the NH Harm Reduction Coalition.&nbsp;</p>
