Kristin Eberl

Kristin Eberl (she/her/hers) has more than 20 years of experience working with youth, families, educators, and communities, with a focus on behavioral health and wellness, education, and community engagement. She currently serves as a Rural Health Education Liaison at the University of New Hampshire, where she works with rural communities to identify health and workforce needs, connect schools and community partners with resources and opportunities, and support efforts to strengthen rural healthcare workforce development, readiness, and retention.

Prior to this role, Kristin worked with UNH Extension supporting youth behavioral health and wellness, educator well-being, and social and emotional learning. She also partnered with the Southeast Land Trust of New Hampshire to develop All-Terrain Learning Adventures (ATLAS), a nature-based wellness program supporting youth and educators through experiential and outdoor learning. Kristin previously spent 14 years as a school counselor in New Hampshire public schools and began her career in experiential education and adventure-based therapeutic settings.
Kristin is currently a Ph.D. student in Education at UNH. She holds an M.Ed. in Counseling from UNH ’08 and a B.A. in Interpersonal and Relational Communications from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania ’04.
