
<p>Linda Davidson, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC, is an Associate Clinical Professor and PMHNP Program Director at the University of New Hampshire’s School of Nursing. A highly experienced clinician and educator, her expertise focuses on psychiatry with a specialty in substance use disorder/recovery, trauma and grief. She is committed to improving patient outcomes through evidence-based practice and healthcare innovation. She received funding for practice-based initiatives and quality improvement projects including the implementation of a Medication Assisted Treatment program, a school-based behavioral health program and a somatic therapy program. Other projects included implementing a PMHNP preceptor program at a FQHC, a perinatal mood disorder program and a pediatric psychiatry program. In her prior role as Executive Director of the Vermont Board of Nursing, she was instrumental in the enactment of independent practice for Vermont APRNs. In addition to teaching and mentoring future nurses, she maintains a practice and is active in health care policy advocacy.</p>
