Sam Leiper
Sam Leiper is a Project Director at the Institute for Health Policy and Practice, working primarily within the Long-Term Care & Aging and Health Law & Policy focal areas. Since joining IHPP as a Research Associate in 2019, she has contributed to several projects related to long-term services and supports, substance use disorder, and NH Medicaid. Before her time at IHPP, Sam held internships at the NH Department of Health and Human Services and the Alzheimer’s Association MA/NH Chapter. In 2017, she graduated Summa Cum Laude from UNH with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. She then received a Master of Public Administration degree in 2018, following a capstone project with the NH Alliance for Healthy Aging. Sam’s interests include the social and behavioral health of older adults, the promotion of person-centered approaches, and the use of data visualization to create accessible tools and resources.
