Suzanne Shumway is the business manager for the Institute for Health Policy and Practice (IHPP). She oversees business, communication, and service operations, developing and implementing systems for effective communication, grant submissions, budgeting, and financial reporting. Additionally, she creates and executes streamlined processes for IHPP’s human resource functions, including recruitment, hiring, orientation, and training for both students and staff.
Prior to joining IHPP in 2009, Suzanne owned and managed several restaurants and college foodservice operations. She brings extensive experience in management, customer service, and both corporate and grant finance.
