Major: Outdoor Education
Graduation Year: 2011

During my years at UNH, I discovered my passion for rock climbing and the outdoors. I joined the Outdoor Education program which then launched me into what is becoming a career in the outdoor industry. I joined the climbing club, was a teacher's assistant for the OE climbing courses, I worked a summer in North Carolina at Camp High Rocks mainly as a rock climbing instructor, and I did my internship with the White Mountain School helping out with the climbing team and summer rock climbing programs.

After graduating with a B.S. in Outdoor Education, I spent one more fall at Camp High Rocks then moved West. I currently work for the Yosemite Mountaineering School as an AMGA certified Rock Climbing Guide taking people of all ages and places climbing on everything from the beginner walls to the big walls of Yosemite National Park. The UNH OE program provided me with the skills, knowledge, and community to build a solid foundation and really make the most of my career as an educator and guide.
