UNH Athletic Training majors Brooke Bergeron and Madeline Zimmerman were recognized by the New Hampshire Athletic Trainers Association (NHATA) as 2018 recipients of the NHATA Student Scholarships. The NHATA initiated an undergraduate scholarship program in January of 2001 to promote academic excellence in, and dedication to, the study of athletic training. They were recognized at the New Hampshire student symposium on April 22.
Ben Towne, NHATA President and UNH Clinical Assistant Professor states “It is with great pride that the NHATA presents these scholarships to two outstanding students. It’s a pleasure to be able to both recognize and reward students who will be the future of our profession."
