
<p>Karen Henny, AS, BS, NRP, is a Senior Lecturer in the University of New Hampshire's Department of Kinesiology, where she has been a faculty member since 1996. She is an active Emergency Medical Services (EMS) provider, working for McGregor Memorial EMS (formerly Durham Ambulance Corps) since 1990. She has also been a licensed New Hampshire EMS Instructor/Coordinator since 1993. She is a Nationally Registered Paramedic (NRP) and licensed to practice in NH. This gives her the opportunity to not only stay current with the most up-to-date EMS best practices but also to work alongside her students during some of their clinical ambulance rotations and beyond, after they complete her classes and become credentialed as licensed EMS providers.</p>
