Lisa Waller, MMSc, PA-C is the Program Coordinator for Health Sciences within the Department of Kinesiology. She is a Physician Assistant who was drawn to the versatility of the PA profession and has had the opportunity to practice and teach in a variety of settings and specialties. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Management and Policy at the University of New Hampshire. She completed her Masters of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Emory University School of Medicine in 2004.

Lisa started her career as a PA in pediatric pulmonary medicine at a large children's hospital in Atlanta, GA. From there, she came back to New England to help grow at pediatric subspecialty program at Elliot Hospital in Manchester NH. Just prior to her return to UNH, she was serving as the Director of Clinical Education for the Physician Assistant Program at the MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston.

She enjoys using clinical experiences to contextualize teaching concepts. She works collaboratively with students, fostering knowledge in general medical conditions, therapeutic management, clinical reasoning and the provision of culturally competent patient care.
