<p>Rae Sonnenmeier, Ph.D., CCC-SLP, is an Associate Clinical Professor at the University of New Hampshire's Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. A highly experienced clinician and educator, her expertise lies in early childhood speech and language disorders, communication needs of individuals with developmental disabilities, and gender-affirming voice and communication training with a focus on family- and client-centered care, evidence-based assessment and intervention practices, and high-quality supervision. In addition to teaching and mentoring students. Dr. Sonnenmeier serves as the Director of Clinical Education and Services, coordinating the on-campus CSD clinical programs, overseeing the graduate students' clinical experiences, and collaborating with community-based programs for high-quality externship placements. In 2012, Dr. Sonnenmeier received the Recognition Award from the Early Education and Intervention Network of New Hampshire for outstanding leadership and professional performance on behalf of young children and families in New Hampshire.</p>

NH-ME LEND

The NH and ME Leadership in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities Program (NH-ME LEND) is a collaboration among Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth, the College of Health and Human Services at the University of New Hampshire, and the Center for Community Inclusion and Disability Studies/UCED at the University of Maine-Orono. The purpose of NH-ME LEND is to improve the health of children and youth with neurodevelopmental disabilities by preparing leaders to enter the field of maternal and child health.
