
Angela Braswell
<p>Angela M. Braswell, DNP, BA, RN, CWOCN, CNL, Caritas Coach, is an Associate Clinical Professor at the University of New Hampshire’s School of Nursing. Certified as a Clinical Nurse Leader and a Wound, Ostomy, and Continence (WOC) Nurse, she brings extensive experience to UNH. </p>

<p>Her expertise includes Gerontological, End-of-Life, and Palliative Care nursing, with a focus on improving patient and nurses’ experiences through person-centered, evidence-based practice and interdisciplinary collaborations. Certified as a Caritas Coach® by the Watson Caring Science Institute (WCSI), Dr. Braswell integrates caring science principles into her work. She earned her DNP from UNH, where her quality improvement project contributed to UNH Nursing becoming a distinguished WCSI academic affiliate. As a faculty member, and through her scholarly work, Dr. Braswell not only brings caring science to her nursing practice, but is committed to fostering a culture of self-care and resilience among nursing students and colleagues. Her numerous presentations highlight her dedication to advancing nursing education and practice through applied research and theory-guided approaches.</p>

<p>In addition to teaching and mentoring, Dr. Braswell remains active in clinical practice and holds memberships in various university committees, and in national, and international professional organizations. She is committed to the WOC Nurse specialty, contributing to education, policy and advocacy efforts within the New England Chapter of the Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nurses Society. Currently, Dr. Braswell serves as President of the Eta-Iota at-Large Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.</p>
