Chelsea Berge graduated from Rivier University in 2014 earning a B.A. in Human Development, Early Childhood Education and General Special Education. She is currently pursuing her M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction at Plymouth State University. Chelsea holds a NH state certification in both Early Childhood Education and General Special Education as well as a Level 6 Early Childhood Teaching credential with an Infant/Toddler level 2 endorsement.
As a child, Chelsea attended CSDC beginning in the Infant/Young Toddler program through Kindergarten. She is eager to teach in the program that first inspired her to begin a career in early childhood education. Chelsea has been working at the CSDC since 2014, beginning in the Infant-Young Toddler Program, and moving to Preschool 1 in 2015. She is interested in supporting children in their social emotional development, as well as creating a classroom community where each member is valued.
My professional interests include the impact that social and emotional development has on the lives of young children, embracing and including diversity in the classroom setting, and creating an environment that respects both the individuality and uniqueness of every child and family.
