<p>Gabrielle Petruccelli, PhD, OTR/L, is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Occupational Therapy at the University of New Hampshire. A skilled clinician and educator, Dr. Petruccelli’s clinical expertise is in acute care, with a focus on integrating occupation with medically complex patients as well as addressing the functional cognition needs of all patients. Her academic interests center on leadership development and the use of high-fidelity simulation as one way to prepare students for clinical practice in acute care settings. An active member of her state and national occupational therapy associations, Dr. Petruccelli remains engaged in professional advocacy, shares her scholarship of teaching and learning, and stays current with developments in the profession. She values building strong connections with students and is committed to creating meaningful teaching and learning experiences that foster personal and professional growth as well as clinical confidence.</p>
