Maya Gelting
Research Associate
Maya is a Research Associate at the Institute of Health Policy and Practice. They are a graduate of Agnes Scott College, where they studied English Creative Writing and Public Health. While in Georgia, their writing was recognized on a college- and state-wide level. Previous experience includes internships at the CDC (Emergency Response and Recovery Branch, Emergency Operations Center for the 2018 Ebola Outbreak) and Dekalb Board of Health (Community-Based Participatory Research infrastructure). Outside of work, their interests include playwriting and theater, aquariums, house plants, and their two cats.
