Maddie Ables grew up in Madbury, New Hampshire and later Norwich, Vermont. After graduating from undergrad at Purdue University, she worked for several state and federal agencies using her degree in soil science. She has worked with farmers, road surveyors, foresters, and firefighters to help improve soil quality in various industries. When the pandemic began and the lab closed its doors, she found she finally had the time to apply for law school. Now she is a third-year student at the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law in the Daniel Webster Scholars Program. Outside of classes Maddie spends her time playing in mahjong tournaments and reading science fiction novels. In Spring of 2024 Maddie is planning to graduate and begin her legal career in the area of health law.
