As a Junior I went abroad my fall semester. I studied in Florence, Italy for 3 and half months. I took Italian class, along with culinary classes that brought me deep into the Italian culture. I can honestly say that this experience changed my life. I traveled parts of the world that I never thought I would see such as Prague and Budapest. I skied in the Alps and went hiking along the Italian Riviera. The people I met and places I can now say I have been have opened my eyes to new ideas. Going abroad has truly made my entire UNH experience unforgettable. As I get ready for my internship in Program Administration, I now know that I have the independence and confidence that I never thought I would gain. I feel that because of this experience, I can go anywhere.
