Health management and policy student Sophia Bolduc

Looking back on your time at UNH so far, what are you most proud of and why?
I am most proud of how hard I have pushed myself to to grow and succeed in college and in my personal life so that I can be successful and independent once I graduate.

What motivates you?
Thinking about what kind of future I want and what I need to do in order to get there as well as making my parents and family proud of me.

Why did you choose your major?
I chose this major because I was I wanted to do something with healthcare but I didn't want to be clinical so this was the perfect fit.

What are you planning to do after graduation?
After graduation I plan on further working on my startup company called Mind Body Soul Boxes as well as opening an Herbalife club.

How is your experience at UNH preparing you to achieve your goals?
UNH has helped me find many connections with people professionally as well as personally who want to help me achieve all of my goals as well as provide all of the resources for me to make them happen.

Any advice for students interested in your major?
Reach out to your advisor and professors and always introduce yourself to them. All of the faculty and staff in this program go above and beyond to help you succeed -  you just need to be willing to ask for the help. Its a very great major.

Finally, tell us one reason you love UNH.
I love UNH because of all of the resources and activities they have! I am involved in CHAARG which is a woman-based workout club. I am also currently working on a submission for the Bud Albin Challenge round of the Holloway Prize competition as well as a submission for the final round of the Ecenter's Summer Seed Grant!
